How it works
1. Register free online
As part of your registration, you will receive free supplies, including lemonade mix, pitcher and cups, in order to host a physical lemonade stand. You will also receive an online fundraising page that can be personalized with your story and sent to friends and family to boost your fundraising. Registration for Anthem LemonAid 2023 closed Tuesday, July 18.
2. Follow us on Facebook @AnthemLemonAidRVA and download the Anthem LemonAid social media toolkit
Photos from your stand could be posted on the Facebook page. You can access photos and language for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter by using this Dropbox link.
3. Share your fundraising link
Post the link on your social media accounts and ask your contacts to support your fundraising efforts.
4. Get your free supplies
Save the date to pick up your Anthem LemonAid kit supplies on Wednesday, July 19th and Thursday, July 20th. You must be registered prior to kit pickup. Walk up registrations at kit pickup will not be allowed. Event registration must be completed by Tuesday, July 18th at 8 p.m. to reserve a free kit. Details about kit pickup have been shared via email with registrants. Contact Vaughan Clark at vclark@chfrichmond.org with any questions.
5. Set up your stand
On LemonAid weekend (July 21st to 23rd) set up your lemonade stand in your own front yard, your neighborhood pool, at your place of business or another high traffic area and sell cups of lemonade in exchange for donations.
New this year, we will share an online map of LemonAid stand locations so you can stop by for a cup of lemonade and make a donation to support local kids. The map will include participating businesses, restaurants and neighborhood stands.
6. Your creativity may win a prize!
Enter your stand design into the Most Festive Stand contest sponsored by Roma Ristorante Italiano. You can enter by emailing a photo to vclark@chfrichmond.org by August 1st. Sending a photo enters you for a chance to win a prize provided by Art Factory & Party Place.
7. Submit your earnings
Once your fundraising is complete, please submit the money you collected by making an online gift through your personal fundraising page.
8. Help local kids
Feel proud knowing that 100% of your funds raised helps kids with cancer at Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU.

Volunteer hours
Many of our school-aged participants use the Anthem LemonAid event to complete volunteer service hour requirements. Although one of our staff members cannot sign off as acting supervisor, we will happily provide you with a post-event letter confirming your participation and total funds raised.
